Miami Beach - Miami International Wine Fair 2012

The Past September 14, 2012, was inaugurated the 11th anniversary of the Miami International Wine Fair - one of the largest wine fairs in the United States. The American love affair with wine relationship continues.

There were about 300 wineries representing 16 countries around the world to find new channels of wholesale to sell their wines.

There was a chance to showcase their brand to all exhibitors regardless of the country of origin, variety, style or price.

The Miami International Wine Fair is the ideal platform to bring together all interested buyers also to new products.

Very interesting "Buyer programs"  of  MIWF.   Last year more than 150 importers, distributors and retail chains in 50 countries have participated in this program which has secured more than 2,000 exhibitors meetings pre-programmed with qualified, pre-screened buyers.

Exhibitors who have seen an increased presence this year were Spain, France, Italy, Argentina and Chile, which represent about 80 percent of the fair. The winemakers of South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Portugal, Brazil, Canada and California have benefited from the lack of competition that they found in their respective categories.

The wines present were truly exceptional, many wines have found Americans favor immediate, other wines can be appreciated over time. What is certain is that the Americans have discovered the diversity and what can  play a role of primary importance is the quality, packaging  and value for the dollar.
                                                                                                                             Overall, therefore, the participants exhibitors said they were satisfied with a share of 90/95%, perhaps the highest in the history of MIWF, it difficult to achieve in exhibitions in all sectors.
