The FBI will detach servers substitute for users infected by the virus Dns Charger. And who has not removed it may not be able to use more the web. The reason for such alarmism? Many computers, including Italians, may remain offline. On 9 July, in fact, the FBI put out of the servers used to redirect traffic of users affected by malware Dns Charger, released in 2007 and which has infected 4 million computers worldwide.
The history of this virus seems to be in the process of resolving. After announcing in November for the arrest of seven responsible for its dissemination, pinched in Russia and later extradited to the U.S., the FBI had solved the problem temporarily replacing the servers controlled by criminals.
The fact Charger DNS translates names of websites into IP addresses and vice versa (a phone book for easy navigation), interfering with the DNS system, and diverting traffic to scam sites, and specifically manipulated to defraud users, compromising the system security of the computer itself.
So to make unsuspecting users affected by the malware could continue to sail smoothly after the seizure of loaded servers, the FBI had redirected their Internet traffic on some server clean. Now, however, these servers are turned off and who has failed to eliminate the virus from his computer, he may remain on foot.
