On May 25, 2020, George Floyd, an African-American man, died in the Powderhorn community of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Scoop of what happened:

George Floyd, an African-American man, died in the Powderhorn community of Minneapolis, Minnesota. While Floyd was handcuffed and lying face down on a city street during an arrest, Derek Chauvin, a white American Minneapolis police officer, kept his knee on the right side of Floyd's neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds; according to the criminal complaint against Chauvin, 2 minutes and 53 seconds of that time occurred after Floyd became unresponsive.[3][4][5][6][7] Officers Tou Thao, J. Alexander Kueng, and Thomas K. Lane participated in Floyd's arrest, with Kueng holding Floyd's back, Lane holding his legs, and Thao looking on and forcibly preventing intervention by onlookers as he stood nearby.[8][9] Preliminary results from the official autopsy found no indication that Floyd died of strangulation or traumatic asphyxia, but that the combined effects of being restrained, underlying health conditions, including coronary artery disease and hypertensive heart disease, and potential intoxicants in his system likely contributed to his death.[10][11][12][13] An independent autopsy commissioned by Floyd's family found that Floyd's death was "a homicide caused by asphyxia due to neck and back compression that led to a lack of blood flow to the brain".[14][15] Source (Wikipedia) - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_George_Floyd

Here is more information : The arrest was made after Floyd was accused of using a counterfeit $20 bill at a market.[16] Police said Floyd physically resisted arrest.[17][18] Some media organizations commented that a security camera from a nearby business did not show Floyd resisting.[19][20]. -Wikipedia

My opinion, here is, Why use excessive force over a counterfeit bill this does not make any sense. If your going to be a police officer you need to know what you are doing and know what the consequences are especially in this situation . This entire situation has cause a global protest in other countries too. Things like this is Police Brutatlity and Its Got to Stop it does not make the profession look good nor does it look good for this country.

Most of the signs said that was being held up by protesters were " I Can't Breathe " and "Justice 4 George Floyd"and "Enough Is enough!" .

Previously on a podcast we had a news tip about this protest taking place in crossville Tennessee because of what happened to George Floyd .

Here is the podcast.
