He will turn on the road at the end of November for the taping of the first episodes of Sip Trip, a Web-based video series that will feature many of Italy’s leading wineries and wine trade groups. Jeff will travel throughout Italy accompanied by two Somm friends and a writer from the popular wine website, Vinepair, exploring Italy’s cuisine, culture and history in a fun and fresh new format.
Sip Trip was conceived at the 2017 wine2wine forum during a spontaneous conversation between Jeff, Marina Nedic of I.E.E.M. and Gino Colangelo of Colangelo & Partners. Both I.E.E.M. and Colangelo & Partners have years of experience promoting premium Italian wines in the US and around the world.
Sip Trip is a combination of media (video, social media, press, web content) and “incoming” (press and trade winery visits) as well as “Somm Meet Up” events in the US during which Jeff and sommelier friends will taste the wines of the participating wineries in an informal gathering.
