Roberto Formigoni, president of the Lombardy Region, and the Rectors of the most important University of Milan presented the symbols of the great event that will take place simultaneously in all major cities in Europe on September 28, 2012

The Researchers' Night is an initiative promoted by the European Commission to highlight the role of research showing the human face of research and make known, through a series of events, the impact of this occupation on everyday life.

Now in its eighth edition, the Researchers 'Night provides an opportunity to get in touch with a world, that of research, little known to most, opening the doors of laboratories, universities and research centers, citizens' involvement in games , lessons, tests, competitions, demonstrations and seminars.

"Ordinary people with extraordinary work" is the message that want to launch this initiative, to show that behind a fascinating profession as that of the researcher, there are normal people who cultivate the passions of everyone: musicians, athletes, artists and actors who, for a night, want to share their talent professional and private with all
