Her husband cameraman Daniel meanwhile was more than happy to strip off and show off his muscly physique.
As he got out the water he wrapped a towel around his waist, while protecting himself from the sun with a cap and sunglasses.
After her eight-year-old twins and six-year-old son Henry had finished having fun in the water the gang packed up their belongings to leave the beach.
And like all parents Julia and Daniel were left holding the body board and bags as they made their way home.
The family are no doubt enjoying the summer holidays together before Julia has to get back to work and start promoting her latest film.
