FOOD MADE IN ITALY, THE MOST REQUIRED IN THE WORLD

CIBUS 2014 - Parma - The demand for food Made in Italy is growing rapidly and their production is trying to get out of the classification of niche product to become a consumer product , arriving on the shelves of large foreign distributors.

This question sought to answer 2700 Italian food companies that have exhibited at Cibus 2014 ( International Fair of Italian food , Parma from 5th to 8th May).

To conquer foreign markets food companies have developed hundreds of new products that were presented at Cibus for the first time ( all the selection www.Cibus.it on the site under the heading " New Product "). The exponential growth of new products introduced in "Cibus 2014"  another since testified that the development of trade has increased from 2,100 exhibitors in 2010 to 2300 of 2012 exhibitors to arrive later this year 2700 ( Cibus is every two years) .

Also present at Cibus 2014 about 10 thousand traders ( of 65 thousand global) from 115 countries . Countries "Focus" of the fair were : Germany, France , UK, Switzerland and the Benelux countries in Europe; United States of America , Canada, Brazil , Japan and Russia in the rest of the world; and special attention ' was paid to the countries of South East Asian market "ASEAN "

Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Carlo Calenda, inaugurated the 17th edition of Cibus on Monday, May 5 at 11 am in room Pietro Barilla, and the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Andrea Olivero, was present on May 6.

On May 7, the Minister of Agriculture, Maurizio Martina, held a press conference talking about the most important issues of the agricultural sector and the participation of about 500 food companies at EXPO 2015 pavilion in ad hoc "Federalimentare4Expo", produced by Federalimentare with the technical assistance and organizational Fiere di Parma.

As always, the exhibition of products was accompanied by conferences, events, tastings and workshops.

As for the conferences , all very interesting,  it ranged from detailed presentation on the structure and functioning of the pavilion " Federalimentare4Expo " Federalimentare and Parma Exhibition EXPO 2015 in the annual meeting of members of Federalimentare ( the industrial association that associates 6,500 food companies ); from the conference of the Foundation on the Barilla " Milan Protocol" at the conference Assocarni on Halal certification; the conference on "Internationalization of alimentary national system " of Confindustria and Ice SFC to "Etalian Bio, Destination Australia and Japan" Assocamerestero; from the conference on the large foreign distribution "Promoting the Made in Italy" Food Group to "What future for the sales promotion" of Nielsen and University of Parma.

Hundreds of show cooking and tasting in the stands , with all the great chefs deployed from Cracco, Oldani and Visscher, as well as many testimonials VIPs, the motorcycling champion Jorge Lorenzo to the cycling team BLACKS departing for the Giro d ' Italy and so on.

Complementary to Cibus and much awaited  was the 5th edition of "Planet Nutrition & Integration", interdisciplinary forum on healthy nutrition seminars with medical and scientific societies, and an exhibition section of health food products.

Finally, Cibus presented a large outside living room  "Cibus Land", with tastings, shows and events of all kinds in the streets of Parma,  as well as a large lounge "After Cibus" reserved for visitors and exhibitors within the palace of the Governor.  (see http://www.cibus.it/)
