All the spotlights are focused on the 95th edition of the International Home & Bijoux Show, which will be returning to Fiera Milano (Rho) one week later.

The show will open on Thursday 12 September 2013 and will end on Sunday 15th. The reasoning behind this decision was to capitalize on a new position in the European exhibition scene, and to meet the demands of the trade.

Tableware & Kitchenware, Home Decor, Gifts and Bijoux: these are the four theme areas of the exhibition. A broad, varied look at the “home” world and at the accessories area, for a proposal that combines famous names with the ideas of small entrepreneurs and young designers, always with a view to style and quality at the service of retail. The Macef halls host sectors that have become a real must over the years: Creazioni, accessories and ideas for home living and décor, L’Opera Italiana, Home Garden, Stories of Sustainability and Opere d’Arti.

Halls 14, 16 and 20 will again be home to Bijoux, showcasing jewellery and fashion accessories and consolidating the success it has achieved in recent years with lots of innovations and an even wider offer: a new, more practical layout, broken down into theme areas to make it easier for visitors to find their way around, the new cash & carry area and the creative “The Best of Bijoux” contest held in collaboration with Preziosa Magazine and awarding prizes to the sector’s most creative companies.

And of course, there will be Macef , the online trade fair established in January with over 8,000 certified buyers and 440,000 hits. Proof that the trade still aspires to do business. This project will back on the www.macefplus.com platform on 23 September. So, the trade can once again get together online in Autumn to meet, to do business, to put to good use the contacts they made at the Exhibition or to create new contacts with an extra month.
Macef also confirms its partnership with Trenitalia, making travel easier for visitors: the Frecciarossa and Frecciabianca trains will make unscheduled morning and afternoon stops at Rho Fiera station for anyone travelling to the exhibition. Not only that, but Trenitalia Cartaviaggio members who travel to Macef on the Frecce will enter free of charge.
