His style, and his innovation, noted above all in regard to his garments for men, made him a pillar in this field. His inspiration? He doesn’t have a muse, nor a particular type of ideal Man or Woman. He trusts instead his instinct, as the designer from Turin, to make every bride or groom perfect, hiding their defects and emphasizing their best qualities.
What is the secret to creating the perfect bride? And for the groom?
In both cases the trick is to follow the form of the body: as for that of the woman you look for trapeze dresses, empire or redingote. The same principle for the man: slim items with an elegant lapel.
What can you unveil to us about the 2015 collection?
I won’t change my objective; the rules are always the same: innovation and quality. They will be designs that standout for their materials, form, and original cuts. I will dedicate particular attention to color and accessories, most requested by men and women for their ability to create a unique look. The grooms who go for the classic vest and tie, sometimes substituted by the plastron, one can’t forget about the refined presence of the cufflinks combined or created with precious stones. The bride focuses on the bouquet carefully matched with the color of the gown. Do not underestimate the importance of the shoe, patent leather with laces or loafers are perfect for him. For the bride, she should wear a décolleté shoe tailored for her, because the materials used should the same as the gown.
In your opinion, what brings a client to choose your creations?
I believe originality is important, but never as much as quality. The clients trust my collections because, from the raw materials to the craftsmanship, I insure Made in Italy but also tailor made.
