Mr Cameron's outfit of blue shirt and jeans was almost identical to the attire he has been seen sporting on a string of other getaways dating back as far as 2008.
Earlier this month Mr Cameron was photographed on holiday in Majorca wearing a rumpled blue shirt as he and his wife enjoyed an al-fresco lunch. And last year on a trip to Ibiza the PM was seen in a polo shirt apparently identical to the one he wore in Cornwall today.
While Samantha Cameron has been known to make bold fashion choices, it appears her husband wears just wardrobe in a single shade.
Mrs Cameron was casually dressed for the couple's seaside lunch in Polzeath in fitted jeans and flip flops with a checked shirt over a white t-shirt.
The prime minister's wife also wore a coat to keep warm in Cornwall for the August bank holiday.
The stunning coastal resort holds a special place in the hearts of the Camerons, as their baby daughter Florence was born at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro in 2010.
They even gave their daughter the middle name Endellion in honour of St Endellion, the area they were staying in at the time. The little girl's full name is Florence Rose Endellion Cameron.
The couple also have eight-year-old daughter Nancy and son Arthur Elwen, six. The Camerons' son Ivan, who was born with a rare combination of cerebral palsy and epilepsy, died in 2009 at the age of six.
The Camerons' latest Cornwall break comes shortly after their holiday in a secret location on the island of Majorca earlier this month.
The couple escaped to the sunny Spanish destination with their children after the London Games came to a close.
The Camerons are on holiday until next weekend, although Mr Cameron will return to London for the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games on Wednesday.
