To celebrate the 50thanniversary of the immense once-a-year library that is the Bologna Children's Book Fair in Italy, the Bee Technology Group took part by lighting up the Digital Area of the fair with a little touch of safety.
The digital area of the Bologna experience focused on the technological evolution of children’s literature. Bringing together both software and hardware—new and established—it featured continuous presentations at the Digital Café, exploring a wide range of topics. These included the digitalization of images, comparisons between printed books and e-books, and new concepts shaping the future of content for children. All with a clear focus: how technology can support learning in a meaningful way.
Within this environment, Bee Technology Group presented its vision on the importance of safe internet access for children, highlighting a structured and responsible approach to digital learning. The company addressed a growing reality: children are increasingly engaging with technology, and the tools they use must be designed with their needs in mind.
At the MimiHua stand, Bee Technology Group introduced a complete ecosystem created specifically for young users. The presentation included the MimiHua Browser, the MimiHua Social Village, and the first edition of the MimiHua Android tablet. Live demonstrations showcased the platform’s applications and dedicated App Store, offering a clear perspective on how the company aims to redefine the online experience for children.
What distinguishes MimiHua is its focus on safety combined with active parental involvement. Rather than leaving children exposed to the open web, MimiHua provides a guided digital environment where content is selected, controlled, and aligned with educational value. The level of detail and structure presented a clear alternative to existing solutions.
Over the four days of the Bologna event, MimiHua held continuous meetings with illustrators, writers, editors, and professionals in children’s education. These interactions are now contributing to the development of new software and hardware initiatives, with collaborations extending across international partners.
