Garnet Edward "Ace" Bailey was a Canadian professional ice hockey player and scout . He died at the age of 53 while aboard UA Flight 175, which crashed into the South Tower of the World Trade Center during the September 11 attacks. In his memory, the Los Angeles Kings named their new mascot "Bailey"
