They've got the year's best-selling album and single, respectively, and now Justin Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will go head-to-head at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, as they lead the field of nominees with six nods apiece.
Bruno Mars is close behind with four VMA nominations, while Pink, Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus and Thirty Seconds To Mars each picked up three. Taylor Swift, Drake, Calvin Harris and Fun are also in the running for multiple Moonmen heading up to the big show, set for Sunday, August 25 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Timberlake's striking "Mirrors" clip earned nominations for Video of the Year, Best Male Video, Best Pop Video and Best Editing, while his "Suit & Tie" team-up with Jay-Z is in the running for Best Collaboration and Best Direction. If he wins these prizes this year, JT will add them to his already impressive haul of Moonmen, having won seven at previous VMAs.
