The MimiHua Village

EDITOR IN CHIEF By EDITOR IN CHIEF | March 10, 2013 | United States

The MimiHua Village is a Social Network made especially for kids!

What does this mean?

It means that we, at MimiHua, have created a world that is suitable, fun and, above all, safe, for kids to socialize and hang out. Kids can create their own profile using our great selection of fun avatars as profile pictures. Little villagers can upload their photos and videos, change their mood and create fun groups, which can even be used to keep up with school projects!

How did the MimiHua Village become so safe?

The MimiHua Village became safer and safer during its creation thanks to the ideas of the MimiHua Educative Staff along with the needs and suggestions of parents and guardians.

Safe Signup Process

The Educative Staff at MimiHua have made the signup process super-safe. We have noted the safety issues that popular adult social networks have had and worked on making our little world perfect for kids. In OUR signup process, a kid cannot simply signup without a parent knowing. MimiHua have made this possible by asking for a valid parental ID, for example a passport or drivers license, and also asking for a parents email to confirm. More recently, the MimiHua team have added a NEW safety feature to the signup process. It shall now be required to add a working telephone number so that MimHua Village staff can physically call the parent to welcome them to the Village, to answer any questions and to check their ID against what has been signed up!

MimiHua check all of the content that kids upload before their friend can visualize it. The MimiHua Staff are always at hand to check content and to personally valuate how child friendly the content is. After this process has been completed, the content is only available for friends to see and is not viewable by other Villagers.

The profile picture that each Villager chooses is from our wide range of cool cartoon avatars, which is ever updated. MimiHua do not show actual photographs of villagers to other members.
