Make Election Day a Family Affair‏

EDITOR IN CHIEF By EDITOR IN CHIEF | November 05, 2012 | United States

To our friends

As you well know by now, tomorrow, Nov 6th is an important day for our country. The campaign ads that have bombarded your television and radio stations will be done and what will remain is for you to make that all important decision of who should lead our country. HLN encourages you to exercise the most important right you have - to vote.

Tomorrow is the opportunity to make our voices heard. But you can do more than just vote. Make sure your family also votes; your grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Don't take for granted that they will remember to vote. You would be surprised at how many people forget to vote or run out of time during the day.

Take the time to call or e-mail all your family members and make sure they are educated on the issues and make it to the polls on time. According to all polling and news reports, this is election is a dead heat and everyone's vote will make a difference.

In order to help you, here are your state's guidelines:  This is a great resource if you need to find your local polling place. We hope that you and your families will join Hispanic advocates all across the country and make your voices heard, loud and clear, on Tuesday, November 6!

Sincerely,
